Points Group - Privacy Policy . . .
Your privacy is important to us. Please take the time to read our Privacy Statement and contact us if you have questions or concerns. Just as the Internet changes, our Privacy Statement may change from time to time. Changes will be posted here.
Sources of Information & Cookies
'Cookies' are a standard browser feature that allows us to assign each visitor a unique, random number, like a user ID, which resides on your computer. This does not give us access to your computer or any personal information about you. Once you close your browser, the cookie simply terminates. Cookies are used to enhance your visit. For example, you do not have to log in a password more than once, saving you time and the convenience of not needing to remember your password. We may use cookies to provide you personalized information that we believe will be of value to you based on your preferences.
It is possible to set your browser to inform you when a cookie is being placed. This way you have the opportunity to decide whether or not to accept the cookie. By accepting a cookie, keep in mind that your choice to decline e-mail offers remains unaffected. Here is how to set your cookie preferences: Netscape Navigator 4 or above: Select Preferences from the Edit menu. From the Preferences menu, select Advanced and several options for cookies will be listed in the lower right of the menu. Additionally, you may select Help for more details. For further information about the Netscape browser and use of cookies, visit Netscape's website.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 or above: Select Options from the View menu. Choose the Advanced menu and scroll to the section labeled "Cookies," where several options are listed. For further information about the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser and use of cookies, visit Microsoft's website. AOL: If you are using AOL v3.0 for Windows 95 select Preferences from the Members menu. Click on the WWW icon and select Advanced. Modify your preference if you wish to be warned before accepting cookies. For any later versions of AOL, please contact AOL technical support.
Information You Supply
When you activate your Membership, you are asked questions about your vacation preferences and types of vacation activities that interest you. The more you tell us about yourself, the better we can provide service that meets your needs. We maintain this information to send you e-mail offers and to let you know when vacations are available that fit your preferences. If you do not want to receive this type of information, simply decline the option for the e-mails at the time you activate your Membership, or contact us at any time.
IP Address
Our web servers automatically collect limited information about your computer's connection to the Internet, including your IP address, when you visit our site. Your IP address is a number that lets computers attached to the Internet know where to send you data such as web pages you view. Your IP address does not identify you personally. We use this information to deliver our web pages to you upon request, to tailor our site to the interests of our users and to measure traffic within our sites. IP addresses gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
Use Of Information
We share aggregated information with our partners and advertisers. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any person or individual computer. Like all businesses accepting credit cards, we use a credit card processing company to handle credit card transactions. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
Password Protected Areas of the Website
To use the Member Services or Vaction Store sections, you must enter your Access Code and Password. World Class V.I.P. is a private club; our prices are not available to the general public.
